Smart Classroom

/smart_classroom/HA_controls.png

This project concerns a digital twin of a university classroom designed with sustainable operation in mind. IoT sensors and a nearby weather station are used to measure internal and environmental conditions, while controllers are used to adjust heating and cooling, shutters and lights. Users can control all functionalities remotely through a web interface or a mobile application implemented in Home Assistant. Furthermore the integrated digital twin is used to analyze inputs and proactively ensure the necessary conditions for educational activities with minimal energy consumption. The project commenced in 2024 and continues to evolve with new functionalities added continuously.
