Smart Classroom

The “Smart Classroom” a is pilot digital twin of a university classroom designed for the sustainable use of resources. Several IoT controllers and sensors are used to control heating, air conditioning, and lights, while external conditions are measured by an integrated weather station. All collected data are processed by the Home Assistant server, which controls the shutters and lights to minimize energy consumption while maintaining the necessary conditions for educational activities. Users can control all functionalities through an online interface or a mobile application.
The project commenced in 2024 and ongoing work focuses on integrating smart functionalities into the digital twin.
